Where does the acetate come from?

Our partnership with Mazzucchelli 1849, Italy, a world leader in cellulose acetate manufacturing, allows us to offer a wide range of high-quality acetates.

In what form can acetate be ordered?

It is available as 7 × 17 cm sheets or as pre-cut branch blanks (2.5 × 25 cm).

Which thickness should I choose? Which acetate thickness is suitable for my project?

In general, 4 mm and 6 mm thicknesses correspond respectively to branch blanks and face plates.

Will this acetate sheet work well with my current tools and machines?

Yes, acetate sheets can be cut with a laser, saw, file, or CNC (Computer Numerical Control).

Do you offer bio-based acetates?

Due to insufficient demand, we do not offer bio-based acetates on our site.

Can I get exactly the same pattern later to ensure continuity in my collections?

Acetate production at Mazzucchelli 1849 varies throughout the year. Some collections may be discontinued; availability depends on stock in Italy and in our workshop. You can check the availability of the desired reference directly on the Mazzucchelli 1849 website.
